01 | Side Events

Lots of side events pop up every year around Bits & Pretzels.

• Participating in and applying for a side event is 100% free for Bits & Pretzels attendees
• As the host, you are responsible for managing your event’s registration / registration page, promotion, creative, operations, insurance, costs, etc.
• Most side events are in general open to all attendees, however they can also be by invitation-only
• Only Munich-venue-based events will be considered (no virtual)
• Your event must take place between between 28 September and 2 October 2025 </aside>

02 | How to: Host a side event

Please note the following information:

1. You will be responsible for organization, location, invitation & costs, etc. of the side event
2. Our communication team will feature your side event on our side event website

• Once submitted, our team will review your application and provide feedback in a timely manner
• There is no specific deadline, however the sooner we know about your side event, the better for communications </aside>

Side events are external events that our partners can organize themselves around the time of Bits & Pretzels (between 28 September and 2 October 2025)

Examples from the past:

• Meetups / Workshops / Seminars
• Breakfasts / Happy Hours
• Open Office / Office Hours
• Get togethers at exhibition booth
• … more

We do not recommend to overlap the official program:
